Which one would you bet on????????

PICO OR REFERENCE...

I was thinking about this yesterday, alot of us get really good deals when we go in for orders inthe very first batch ,though we hardly have much reviews to bank on nor much feedback from a lot of users yet I see a lot of us have placed a considerable amount of money(for a few of us lol) on ordering these amps.
Yes both these amps have been heard by a few headfiers so thats a similiarity.

So if you had to bet on which one of these two would end up as the winner or the pathbreaking portable amps which one would be your bet.

If you reall good at understandng an amps design and the other tech stuff do mention those as this could sway a few guys to ur choice .

If you feel there are a couple of other contenders to do add them as well.

Just has to be an amp thats not released yet.

i would guess at the reference being the more heralded.

Xin for the win.

All due respect to Justin, but Xin was a rocket scientest lol

Whether this has anything to do with anything I don't know

I would go the Pico. It has built in DAC and I wouldn't have to wait an eternity to receive one.

based on reputation alone, i'd think graham slee's voyager might deserve to be in the same ring as headamp and xin.

There are two versions of the Pico. One that's just the amp and one with a dac. If it's just the amp version, my money is still on the Xin. But $500 amp/dac combo doesn't have a Xin equivalent.

better comes with waiting, so they say
but, anyhow, I would go for reference...

Although I am a major Xin fan I regret to say that it is way to early to say. I mean, Dr. Xin has not decided on a final configuration and Justin's Pico is not in production yet.

The good thing is the options we have! So lets wait a little while and we will know.

Once both the amps are relased into full production and a lot of head fiers receive and review it then I dont see any need for speculation.

The fun is on speculating which one of the two champ audio stallions (justin or xin) wins .(i do apologise if my comparision made any one feel bad).

Just to make the things a bit more interestin we have a few experinces and comments on both the amps(though not complete)which could help us.

Did not want to add the voyager as I have not read any post from any body who has heard it.

I think miguel had placed an order not sure though....

It is on its way, a week more of travel?

Justin's customer service is exemplary. Xin - not so much. When two products are even remotely similar, I vote with service every time.
