You are clearly not using your computer as your main source for playing music.

80 GB +
120 GB +
320 GB +
1000 GB = 1520 GB

Technically the 80 GB isn't in my tower at the moment, but it is storing things for me.

They are such a faff to carry around, its ok if you would only use it at home.

I take mine to my dads, and then have to climb under my desk plug in the power, thn get up, plug the USB into my PC, on the desk.....

I'll only be using it at home so portability wont be an issue.

The price of these has really dropped lately, i can get a 1tb for only £165 delivered so i'll probably get it and be done with it

3 x 250Gb drives and 1x 320gb drive

I have a 37gb Raptor as my boot drive, a 500gb for movies/television, a 200gb for photos, and a 175gb for random/miscellaneous things. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up another couple of 500gb drives after Thanksgiving though so I can toss the 200 and 175 PATA drives and convert all to SATA.

250 in the main pc with 250 external running as a ghost back up.

with music and all the photos I only use 93gb tops..

so i have some time to go for another upgrade.
