Thanks for the compliments

Hi folks,

Thanks a lot for all the compliments and I am glad that I am not alone jaw dropping listening to this K2 HD sound.

I do hope this will stimulate more sharing, and looking forward to more to come from all of you. After all, it is the music that matters most.

Warm regards,
Francis

I'm in the UK and did some Googling and didn't find a way of buying one of these. Does anyone know an online supplier with stock?

I got mine today and I have to agree with all post before me that this is a very spectacular recording.

These are bitter times for vinyl lovers :-)

Sadly they are already behind in their release schedule :-(

Got mine today... Yeah, the rumors are true, it's amazing.
Now keep in mind that I have ripped it to my computer and am running it through Foobar2000 + ASIO (so I am not sure if this is as good as straight from the CD), but my rig sounds like it went up in value by $500. What is really interesting is the effect of the crossfeed from my Arietta. On many of the tracks it really enhances the 3d positioning of the instruments to quite scary levels. On or off though, the music carries that vinyl "weight" in the sound, but no "snap crackle and pop".

Thanks Fkclo... I owe you a drink.

I'm listening to it right now and two things come to my head:

1. wow! incredible recording, and

2. Thank you fcklo for sharing this

Just ordered, the CD is pretty spendy, but the free download was amazing, can't wait to hear how the CD sounds!

Just a further comment on the recording technology. The ability of this CD technology is just being brought to its potential. The digital technology has been held back by the poor efforts of the RIAA. As more of these material technologies and techniques improve, the true potential of digital will be exposed. As quality replaces quantity, the music industry might find a revived cash flow. Take the hint guys. Best effort is needed. Show us what the recording industry machine can do.

Well, you may have to prepare for a long night - as it is possible that you do not want to stop

It's playing right now through my speakers. I'm letting my ppx3 warm up a bit more before I put my Senns on

sounds pretty good. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to bring this disc over to my one friend who has an amazing speaker setup to get the full effects of the soundstage, but right now I've never heard my current setup with so much soundstage.
