I can't either! Hopefully I'll have a balanced B22 to bring!

Congratulations on beating out Beijing and Sumatra for the chance to host the 2008 Head-Fi International CanJam'08 Meet!

If anyone can throw a she-bang of a party and still keep it as professional as you guys can, I don't know about it.

I'm sure this will be even better than the 2007 San Jose meet which was even better than the 2006 NYC meet.

Good luck, and anyone that doesn't go will be missing a huge Kodak memory in their life.

C'mon...would you rather be a Radio Shack (those who don't come) or Nordost (those who do) cable. Nothing is more valuable than fond memories.

Mazel Tov!

Thanks for the support everyone. If someone comes to this meet and doesn't have fun it won't due to lack of trying on our part. NYC and SJ were blasts, period, end of story. There will be some seriously good live music Saturday night. The DIY 2 Shot minimum panel discussion should be pretty interesting and entertaining to say the least. We've lined up a really knowledgeable speaker who should be as interesting as Steve Hoffman was in San Jose. In addition to the main meet rooms, Singlepower, Headroom and local favorite Let There Be Sound have committed to taking rooms to display there gear. We will have some specialty rooms that will be manned by memebers and their gear, like a K1000 rooom and hopefully a computer as a source room. It's a great venue in a fun locale. You will not want to miss this event.

Aww I don't have mod powers in this forum (despite the subject of the forum saying that I do.) Oh well, it would all go horribly wrong if I were granted mod powers in a "general population" area. I think Head-fi would burn to the ground in a matter of minutes. Bwahahahaha.

Matt, you should have your powers back soon, if not already. Let's not have anything go terribly wrong.

Matt only plans on editing your posts, so what could go wrong?

I, for one, can wait, though am getting excited as to how things are starting to shape up. As Mike said, if you can't have fun at CanJam '08, aside from getting to experience all the great gear you can handle, there's something seriously wrong with you. Okay, maybe he didn't say that, but I sure did.

I really can't wait for this I need another fun night or running around a hotel breaking into Tyl's room with him, Mike and Gene with a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle

It's the people that make the event so turn out in mass and PLAN to have GREAT time
I guarantee you will not have a chance to hear more gear and meet more great headfiers untill the 2009 national held in Tahiti

What are you talking about? New Guy is for real. Just because you're confused about reality (again), doesn't mean the rest of us don't look forward to seeing New Guy again this weekend.

Chris, don't let him explain anything to you, especially this weekend. I promise you'll be better off.

Oh...and welcome to S. Florida head-fi. Look forward to meeting you.

Thanks! I appreciate the warm welcome. If I am New Guy, then so be it. I will wear the title proudly and not disappoint. Unless, New Guy did something that made him the laughing stock of this good forum, then I will politely decline.
