Has anyone else done anything like this? After destroying a driver playing with some cable ideas (Those things are fragle, a word of warning to all beyerdynamic 931 DIY-ers'), i'm thinking of just soldering a small line of cable from the drivers into a set of female RCA's, thus giving me limitless options for chaning the cable, giving me a home, 3 meter cable, a 1 meter portable cable, etc. Besides, it lets me play around with using interrconnects.
