Modding Grado extensions to Balanced?

Hi Folks;

I have a spare pair (15 ft) of Grado Prestige headphone extension cable. Does any one know if I can mod it to be balanced? I think I'm asking if it it has four wires. It's my 1st try at modding anything. Thanks in advance and I'll post also in the DIY section. Moderators..pls delete the one I misposted. Thanks.

i'm not a DIY'er but i know that Grados can be converted to balanced from retermination alone and do not need a full recabling job. but i think you are right. you would get more help/guidance in the DIY part of the forum.
