Weird question about Sennheiser HD 555's

OK, so I just bought a pair of HD 555's a few days ago and just noticed today that the band on them says HD 515 instead of HD 555. The box says that they are 555's and they look exactly like all the pictures I've seen of 555's but I'm just wondering if there is any chance at all they could be 515's. So basically do 515's come in any sort of model that looks like 555's. This is probably a pretty stupid question but I just don't want there to be any chance of me paying more money for less quality

Yeah, that is pretty weird. The 515 looks significantly different to the 555.

Which one does yours resemble? ..........Could just be a factory misprint.

They look exactly like the 555's except for the band. I was thinking it's probably a misprint or something, but I just want to really make sure

The HD555 and the HD515 both use the same headband it seems, so it was probably just a factory mixup if everything else on the phones looks as it should. That said, I'd send them back and get a new pair. There's no excuse for that kind of blunder and I'm sure if you ever want to sell them the misprint will cause you some hassle.

I had a sennheiser part mixup in the past and I think you should return it right away; they were very speedy and responsive to the whole ordeal
