Bought my 100th cd today, do you remember yours?

Today my CD collection finally made it into three digits. The lucky disc that pushed me over was Metallica - Master of Puppets.

Now I'd like to know if any of you remember any milestones in your music collections. Your first CD perhaps, or maybe your 1000th?

well, my first CD was....(blush)....Sugar Ray's 14:59.

I can't STAND it 2day....really....really...don't like.

The epitome of bad pop-rock, IMO.

Hmm...I've changed a lot in 3 years.

(i'm at 40 total , I think)

Also - MacDEF, and others - how did the 1,000 feel. Or, by that time, did u even KNOW that special #1000 CD was your thousandth?

And if that translation sucks, complain to babelfish.

And yes, the name is.. Well, you said it yourself. Good music, though.

I was just pointing out that he said mer de moms, not mer de noms. Sorry for being difficult, it's all in good fun BTW, APC is not too great live.

Here's a crazy first CD purchase: Tupac "Me Against the World" & Dave Brubeck "Time out"

I should've got the vinyl and mixed "Blue Rondo ala Turk"w/ "**** the World".

Ooops! Don't I feel silly...

Yes, I know they suck royally live. The CD is pretty terribly recorded, too.. Even distorts on some tracks. Still like it, though. Cant help it..

First cd is easy enough.

Local prog rock band called Galahad. Scary thing is the lead singer in the band was standing next to me when I bought it

100th? Didnt even realise I'd gone past 100 until I started struggling to find space for them.....

My first cassette was bought for me by my parents. It was the Bay City Rollers self titled album.
The first CD I bought was Michael Jackson's Thriller.

first one: UB40 - Ce'st La Vie

I like UB40, but the early 80's stuff. so this one is somewhere in my parents collection now.

not at 100 or a similar "milestone" yet. also removed some lesser albums a while ago, and have a few I'm not sure I'm going to keep, so #100 in my collection probably wont be my 100th album
