Ah well, that was quick. Great deal.

I had some and they are great cans, if you like the look they are only about $100. I recommend them.

if i get a nano what kinda amp should i get with like an audio technica can?

What budget? If you are patient to wait for one, or can find one used, a Xin supermicro is the best sound for the money in my opinion. About a 10 year wait for one though...

Otherwise, Headamp make some great amps. Lots of people do.

Same as any other headphone. Awesome to some ears, horrid to others.

You'll have to search here for reviews of any you like the look of in particular.

I love my ES7's more every day as they burn in. They look pretty sweet to. Cord is only about 4 feet long. The fit fairly tight so probably would not be falling off all the time.
They lack a little in isolation which might be a good thing when on the slopes. Check them out. There is a ton of information about them in the forums. Perform very good without amp and even better with an amp. Around $120 with shipping.

It seems like every thread I come across is like 5 years old, what gives?

Anyways I was looking for some snowboarding headphones since I'm going to Park City in March.  I came across: http://www.workoutheadphones.org/best-skiing-headphones-of-2011/

But didn't know if anyone had used any of those.  I'm leaning towards the Klipsch S5 right now, thoughts?
