Does the TwinHead have a processor bypass...

... for incorporation into a combo music/HT system using the same amps?

Where can I find some detailed info on this preamp??? The divertech doesn't even have any images of the back of the preamp nor an image where I can read the front panel input selections...?

Is anyone using this preamp in combination with a HT processor?

Thanks!

I don't think these have even been built yet merc. I think Tuberoller is the only one to have physically seen this amp. You might want to PM him...

I'm not sure myself but even if Tuberoller has a Twinhead 2 it would probably only be the proto from CES. I doubt he'd have a new production unit straight from Hong Kong. As to my knowledge, Mr. Lau is building a shipment as we speak.

Yes he is. I am waiting for the OTL32 to arrive. I have been told it should be in Australia in about 2 weeks...

Yep.

Divergent has 20 Twin Heads on order and I was told a week ago by Tash that they shoud arrive in about 3 weeks, give or take a day or two. I have one on order and I can't wait to hear it.

Does anybody know how much divergent is going to charge for the Twinhead 2? i'm definetly interested in one to replace my recently departed RKV.

Wow $1700!

Divergent has the twinhead 2 listed for $1250 on their website. Why has the price increased so much?

$1700 must be the price in Canadian dollars? Or, Australian? Or...maybe they took the power supply out of the primary chassis, made it the Twinhead II, and increased the price by $500???

Oh god, I sure hope the correct answer is the first one and not the last....

The Twin Head on their website is the just the Twin Head, not the new version which is the Twin Head MK II. They just have not updated the site for the new unit yet.

jeez i hope that merc is right and that the price is in canadian dollars! Otherwise there have better been some MAJOR design changes to justify the $500 price increase.

Sorry, I think I fuelled the fires... I'll delete that last post as I'm not really that sure.

The Power supply has modify to :

1. Seperated power supply -

a. More heavy duty - Can supply up to 60ma current/Channel. More clean. It use 5AR4 as rectifier , 12AX7 & 6L6 as regulated supply. It use 220/450V x 3 , Filter Choke x 2 in filter section.

b. Have 2 connectors connect to main unit. So It can use in other module like one for a Line amps , other for a RIAA ... We will be release some module later.

2. It have 2 mode - OTL and transformers output.

Both mode can use in Headphone output & Line output.

I will be update web site few days later.
