Right now I'm using a PS Audio Ultimate outlet (not high voltage) and I really enjoy how much it lowers the noise floor and tightens bass. When I plugged in a TV, the TV image became more clear. I'm pretty confident that the Ultimate Outlet has positive effects on my system.
I'm looking for a new powerconditioner for my system. People have raved about both the BPT Balanced Power conditioners and PS Audio Powerplants. The BPT BP-1 & BP-2 intrigue me because the greater voltage handling would allow me to plug in my speaker system with tube monos and headphone amp.
I've heard even more enthusiastic reviews of the P300. With the P300, I'd only be able to plug in source components. The P300 is significantly more expensive than the BP units. Would probably need to buy a separate BP-1 for the tube monos.
Has anyone compared the two or done extensive research on these products? How do the Audio Magic Stealth conditioners compare?
