We are still working on the UE cable. We have gone through a lot of connector designs and spent a lot of time testing each one to make sure there are no week spots. We are doing our best to get this finished as quickly as possible, but we spend a lot of time designing and testing cables to make sure they are the best possible cable with no design flaws so that we can offer lifetime warranty.

Hi Alex,

Inquiring minds are inquiring again: can we expect a similar cable for the JHA JH13 Pro?

I will look into them. If they are similar or the same then there will be a cable for them as well.

Thanks, Alex. Serious Head-fiers are claiming the JH13 Pros are superior to the Senn HD800 - a first class portable and home "phone!" Expect to see an increasing clamor for high end cables for these babies.

I think we're approaching on a one year delay soon I think... seems like forever since we first heard about it

We are having problems finding a company who can manufacture the custom developed insulation that we came up with for a reasonable amount or the company is simply not able to manufacture it properly and we are unsatisfied with the results.

As this will be a portable cable we want it to be very soft, thin, and flexible while at the same time producing a fantastic sound.

I understand its been a long wait time and we are not happy about it, but I feel that its better to produce a fantastic cable which everyone will love and rave about than a product that is mediocre or overpriced.

Please have patience with us as we are doing our best and we are currently considering going to some other sort of insulation for the portable cable. This way we are to produce it at a much more reasonable cost to provide everyone with a fantastic product at a great price.

Thanks,
Alex

That's perfectly understandable. I would prefer to see the job done right if it's to be done at all.

Thanks Alex, I can certainly agree with and appreciate that standpoint, keep doing what you're doing

I don't know how many UE11Pro owners are in the same boat, my original cables have oxidized for months but I have been holding off on replacements waiting for the portable V3 cable to come out. Is there a rough timeframe for it's release?

Alex,
Can you rewire AKG 702's from single ended to a balanced configuration?
Thanks,
Tom
