Does this mean Skylab doesn't need to ship you my ALO (gasp) HFI-780's?

I do like the new super nylon more then the black sleeving. It's more softer & flexible then I expected.
I hope you enjoy it and have a great meet in Finland. Don't forget to post pics!

We are still currently working on the development of this cable. We plan on having it ready this summer.

You will love it. The increase in sound quality is just amazing!

I'm about to send in my k701s for a balanced job. What's the turnaround shipping from CA?

Current turn around time would be about 2.5 weeks from time of payment.

Thanks,
Alex

Ugh...head-fi is gonna be the death of my wallet, I think. I'm a newb to headphones, so I have a lot to learn. Now, I'm trying to decide whether the D2000's I just ordered are sufficiently "high end" to justify the cost of re-cabling...then trying to decide exactly what I would want done...

Mine were sufficiently high-end enough to justify re-cabling, and having compared my APS v2 D2000 with a new D5000, I think the mids and highs are as good, and the bass is actually better controlled with my D2000. They sound just like my APS re-cabled HD600/650 and have nice timbre and tone and detail, albeit a little slow like the HD600/650.

(To get a faster headphone you can to look at Ultrasone or Grado, and the Grado HF-1, RS-2 and RS-1 with APS cable are in my "do not sell list", as are my APS re-cabled Ultrasone Edition 9. )

The D2000 recabled with the APureSound V3 cable is far superior to a stock D5000. We have had many very satisfied customers.

Just as a note more V3 recabled headphone pictures to come. I had a large batch of ER4 cables along with other orders to fill, but back to the V3 cables.

Get ready for some R10's, HP-1's, ED9's and more!

Thanks,
Alex

O.K. Thanks for your take... Guess I'll consider APS re-cabling once I get my D2000's & give them a listen after some burn-in... Money isn't typically a major issue for me when I can justify it, but like I said, I'm new to headphones, so the idea of ~$250 for 10' of cable just takes some getting used to...

No one is paying my inquiring mind any mind on the regular hp forum, so let me address this here.

Can anyone comment on the quality differences between a stock Senn HD-25-1 I/II, a HD-25-1 with the APS portable cable or the APS V3 cable?

Obviously, I'm thinking of enhancing my HD-25-1 again.

HeadphoneAddict had our V3 cable on his HD25's until he sold them off. He would be a good person to ask. We have sold very many HD25's, but since 98% of our orders is done through email I wouldn't be able to tell you who ordered to get some opinions.

Thanks,
Alex

2 Sony MDR-R10 headphones. There is a very interesting story behind one of these which I will take time to write up and post both on here and on the home page of APureSound, but for now how about just some pictures. Both have Super Nylon sleeving and a Furutech 1/4in plug.
