Chesky Records customer service??

I have been waiting to receive a CD from Chesky Records since mid-July. I ordered two CDs, received an order confirmation email from them, but no further communication. One of the CDs finally arrived at the end of August. I have sent them 3 emails and haven't received a single response. I called their phone number, too, but it just goes into voice mail, and no one calls back.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with Chesky? It had been a couple of years since I had last ordered them and I had no problem with them at all back then, but now.....

Does anyone know how to contact them since apparently their Customer Service does not include reading or responding to emails?

My orders from them went through without any hitches. I've never had occasion to try their customer service, though.

I haven't read about others having problems, either, but somehow I guess they must have put me on their ignore list! Their CDs are very well mastered, etc., but at this point I am not willing to buy from them again. Unfortunately, the CD I wanted from them probably can't be obtained elsewhere so it appears I will have to do without it, unless I can find it used somewhere.

I also encountered a dead-end trying to order directly from Chesky. They took my order and credit card info. over the phone.  I never rec'd any merchandise and I never heard anything from them.

I always find it remarkable that there are still companies around that offer such terrible service and haven't a clue about customer satisfaction.

chesky recordings are nice but best to buy used and not directly from them. all of my ordering expereinces directly through them have been frustrating and disappointing.

 

as an alternative, i recommend recordings from mapleshade. the recordings are of excellent, audiophile quality and the service has always been very solid.

Haven't ordered recently, but have submitted several questions.  It seems that within the last couple of years the customer service has deteriorated.
