Ultimate Ears Triple Fi Problem

Thread Starter
Recently I have noticed a problem with my Triple Fi.

When the cable near the headphone jack is lifted up slightly, the sound will be totally distorted. As such, when I am walking even slight movements will cause the cable to shift and disrupt the sound

What should I do? Does anybody else have this problem??

Even though UE sells replacement cables I would call them, get an RMA and return the IEM's to them for repair. Turnaround time is about 1 week, and they are excellent to work with!

Hi

I'm really in trouble and I don't know what to do.I also don't know if this is the appropriate place to post about my problem, so please excuse me for any inconveniece.

I bought a pair of Triple Fi 10's last January from a US seller on ebay.As you probably realise, I do not own an official warranty.

Today, suddenly, the left earphone started having problems.I tried to pull out the little plug of the earphone and unfortunately there's a damage as the whole plug came out and I can see two wires one green, one red.

My question is what to do next.Is there any chance to have them repaired? Where do I have to ask for reparing?

Please Help....

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "plug". Do you mean that the drivers themselves are damaged or just the cable? If it's just a cable that would a $30-40 solution. If the drivers, you're in a little deeper. I'm sure there are services out there that will repair them, just google "IEM repair." But if they can't fix it, well, when you buy from eBay, sometimes that's just the risk you take.
