Is this thing too old school?

The OTL-H is quite a rare amp - not much is known about it.

ASL stuff (when working properly!) tend to sound quite good, and are well-known. I love my MG Head MkIII - the H seems to be the predecessor to the MG Head, by the looks of it.

I think it runs the same tube config - 2x EL84 and 1x 12AX7. Check under the tube guard for the type of tubes.

What's the difference between the MG-HEAD OTL and OTL-H?

Is it true that only 8 were made, and specifically for some head-fi members?

Likely the trial/promotion batch, and the production batch did not happen.

Yep. There's a few posts about it.

No idea what the OTL-H is, but it looks older than the 1st-gen MG Head OTL.

So ueyteuor, how good is it? How do you like?
