What about Head-Direct? The price is 229.00 but the photos show the version with the switches. I'm assuming this is an old photo?

As mrarroyo states, "The push button E+ has been out for a while."

My guess is that it is an old photo but I don't understand why they wouldn't change it. It's best to contact H-D and ask. I don't have much experience with them.

Anyone know whats the difference between the minibox e and the minibox e+? is it just battery life? how about the sound?

The difference is not the battery life, it is the voltage which in turn caused some of the components to change from a 6.3 V to 10 V to accomadate the higher 18 V of the MiniBox-E+.
