But listen to Senns balanced, KSC 75's recabled from Apuresound, HP-1's and you will find fast where their place is in the headphone food chain. Great sound for the buck! I know I'm lucky to listen to all the great equipment that goes though my ears so give me a little slack. RudiStor RPX- 100, Triad Audio Lisa EXP and all the other amps I didn't mention. Oh Yeah, all the headphones.....That is another list all itself.

Out of all my portable amps in my sig, my 800 hour Tomahawk ranks 2nd from last.

The Livewires sound MUCH better with my 677 hour RSA Predator or my 300 hour Headsix with Headstage USB DAC than my Tomahawk with the same source. The Tomahwak however has better Synergy with my SE530...
I agree my APS re-cabled RS-2, APS re-cabled HF-1, and stock HP-2 sound better. But those were 2-4x the cost
