My appointment is booked too ... 6th Feb in the morning, should have them in the post the same afternoon.

Now i just have to hope my dissertation keeps my mind off the waiting...

I called Livewires last week to check on my order from January 7th and was told that while they were making the earphones, they found a slight defect in my impressions and would need new ones to continue. This means that I will probably have to wait till Spring Break when I go home to get new impressions done since I don't really have convenient transportation to audiologists at college.

Out of all my portable amps in my sig, my 800 hour Tomahawk ranks 2nd from last. The Livewires sound MUCH better with my 677 hour RSA Predator or my 300 hour Headsix with Headstage USB DAC than my Tomahawk with the same source. The Tomahwak however has better Synergy with my SE530...

I agree my APS re-cabled RS-2, APS re-cabled HF-1, and stock HP-2 sound better. But those were 2-4x the cost

Oh I hate Head-fi! I just spent tons of money on new tubes and AD1000s...I must get livewires....

God. I've been wanting to get these since like May last year. I think the only other person who's been holding out this long is Peter.

Must resist and wait for Westone 3.......

Join the dark side!! I heard about them last june, ordered them last august, and only got them in early november... the wait was worth it. =X

Ugh. Been following livewires since their intro at MacWorld. I was pretty settled on getting them, exchanged few emails with John and found audiologists in my area. Then at a meet in Toronto in the summer, i got to try Westone 3 and i fell in love with them.

Now i'm just sick of waiting and waiting... I think I might have to join you guys.

My appointment with the audiologist is tomorrow morning and I'm going to have the impressions in the mail before lunch! I can't wait until I get them back and can give them a try.
