Why ? Probably bc i wonder if there would be any significant improvement with longer stems. My are ok as of now - sometimes they feel ideal, sometimes 95% good, but this depends on the day, my mood, nd many other things I guess

Anyway - my look like this (not so short, but definitely shorter than yours - and I got a pro impressions here in Poland - John Diles sent me an email upon my impressions arrival, that these are really pro made, no fuss)

What do you guys think, are these stems ok ?? Just wondering... Opinions highly appreciated

They seem ok, but then again, do you find them comfy, you enjoying the sound?

I'm still anxiously waiting my pair, the LW team haven't been replying my emails since Tuesday - when they emailed me that they received my impressions.

Can somebody who has or had a pair of ATH-CK7, compare these to the Livewires and is anybody using the livewires straight out of a X5, how do they sound?

I recently purchased x5l and I can honestly say that it is a lovely match (LW plus Cowon Iaudio X5L) - I use RB, no eq - the music sounds so beautiful I don't know what I could possibly improve via eq

definitely better that clix2 (X5L that is)

It should be a real nice pairing...the clarity and accuracy of the livewires should go great with the warmth and robustness of the X5. (One of the best DAPs IMO...)

I sent my impressions to Earpeace on Thursday, they seemed to have arrived because my credit card reported a $250 loss. They haven't emailed me yet, but they did attempt calling me though. Exciting .

Any pairings with Cowon D2? How are the Livewires in terms of warmth? I can tell how great their high end is, I just don't know much about their lower end.

Dude, the way these IEM's are made they really don't sound that different with different amps or sources. Ive listened to them with A Tomahawk to a Rudistor RPX-100. I really like the sound of the Livewires. They sound a little bright before you break them in and in about the first 15 min of listening.

Man, I am really in love with my livewires again. If I had to describe the sound...I'd say grado-esque...what do you guys think?

I have posted several times in the forums that they sound like a high end Grado. I now own more Grado's than I do Ultrasone
