Goodness! Bad news. Hope just defectives not new "improvements".

(Left: LiveWires T1, Right: Fidelity Triples)

The molds are more comfortable than LiveWires T1, for me. The stock cable is the same as T1's stock cable, so you can use any "cables for LiveWires" for Fidelity Triples.

However, the sound is TERRIBLE - muddy, blurred, low resolution and distorted like cheap earphones. It's far worse than LiveWires T1's sound, so I'm suspecting these are defectives and sent a mail to their support.
While you wait to hear back, I'd be curious to know how the sound changes with a 75 ohm adapter (aka P-to-S adapter). If you have one or can borrow one or have an amp with a 75 ohm switch, try it out. My Freq Show Music Maker triples sound bad like yours without the 75 ohm switch on my amp.

It's shocking to me that the trips have been out for months, yet there isn't a single review. Not just a 'good' review- there isn't a SINGLE review.

I just tried an 82 ohm DIY adapter like this, but the sound was more distorted

Okay, now you may panic.

Another concern about Triples is that a Japanese audiophile said "Fidelity Triples are clearly better than Fidelity Duals in all aspects".

If you can read Japanese, here it is
thrillseeker | Fidelity Custom Duals ¥Õ¥¡¡¼¥¹¥È¥¤¥ó¥×¥ì¥Ã¥·¥ç¥ó

So I'm suspecting my Triples are defectives.

Btw, the guy above has crazy 8-BA-drivers IEMs...

isao2k8, How much burned-in time of your triples? May it need much burn-in time?

About 24 hours, but no effect. And as far as I know, burn-in have little or no effect on BA drivers.

my livewire trips (ca) required around 100 hours before the 'veil' on it lifted. will give a proper review once my cables from qusp come in.

Does anyone know if, and what are the differences between the Livewires trips and fidelity triples are? Are the drivers and crossover the same in both?

Ah that's interesting. I have the Livewires Trips (California) and am tempted to get an impedance adapter for them. No amp with 75ohm switch though so I'll have to get an external adapter. Searched this forums and it seems like it varies from IEM to IEM though ):

Hahaha I haven't gotten it actually, should change it to a WTShare actually cause it's a 2 for cheaper deal that Jan Meier is offering me but I don't need 2? So I'm seeing if anyone else wants if not I only order one hahaha
