The Livewires are very transparent and neutral with good timbre and tone like X10, and just a little brighter than the X10 (depending on the fit of the X10, as my X10 were brighter with shallow insertion and darker like HD650 with a deeoer insertion). The LW have almost as much bass as the X10, while both have less bass and presence/fullness than the Westone 3. The Livewires are very comfortable as they conform to the exact shape of the ear canal without pressure points.

I would say I liked the Livewires 10-15% more than the X10, and the Westone 3 with custom fit UM56 tips about 5% more than the Livewires. I liked the X10 about 10% more than the SE530 and Triple.fis or SA6, and about 20% more than the q-JAYS (and 100% more than the Super.fi 5 pro).

I left a message a month ago and they still haven't called back.

Been calling a few times both office, no one is picking up.

I recommend no one buys off this company, I haven't received my headphone from repair and they actually RECEIVED the headphone on OCTOBER 16th.

I am thoroughly unsatisfied with earpeace's customer service and the speed at which they are processing my request.

I got a call from LiveWires yesterday informing me that my LWs had finally been shipped. My order was placed on 3 December so that's just about two months. I sure hope that they fit and that they are worth the wait!

Look in my public profile "about me" and find the 2 links to my impressions of freq showe vs livewires, copy and paste them into the browser address bar to read them.

I only recently found an amp that makes my freq show sound very good, (practical devices XM5 with buffers), and the Livewires have always been my favorite (still are).

Called Livewires today, they said their old manufacturer went out of business 2 weeks ago and they have my broken livewires, and thus can't get them back. So I am to go get new impressions and ship it to them with the bill, they will then rush my order and give me new ones.

Just relistening to my LW right now. Sometimes I have to put them away for a while and use my UE5. My UE5s are just more comfortable to me - I think I either got a better mold, or they were made better - I do not know. Still everytime I pick up the LW again, its like magic to me. So exciting and has great clarity and balance.

Just ordered my livewires yesterday. Waiting for them to come. 2 weeks? 1 month? 2 months?
I remember when it was like 23 days when I got mine.

LW have crisper Bass and larger soundstage. UE5 is more boomy, can be muddy at times, but is warmer.

I got mine in 2 weeks. But that was when the company was first starting up.
