For the first half hour I thought they did not fit and would have to go back. Then I realized that I was not tucking in the top edge under my outer ear flap. It's a bit tricky getting them in and out. Once I figured out how to do it the fit became correct. They sound transparent (clear) across the spectrum, the highs and lows are not boosted. I am satisfied.
Great to hear - congrats :-)

What is your setup? Amp/DAP?

On stage I either go direct from the Headphone Out jack on my Roland FP4 digital piano or from the headphone Out Jack on my Mackie 1202-VLZ mixer. For casual listening I use a SanDisk Sansa Clip mp3 player or direct from a Dell laptop or Panasonic CD player.

My LiveWires look exactly like these:

Yeah, I knew you would like the LiveWires with your band.

Best of Luck!

Congrats Jazz+ Enjoy em!

They only arrived this afternoon, so I have only tried them direct from the digital piano, from the CD player and the laptop. I will use them live on a solo gig on Saturday and then with the jazz trio on Sunday.

Well I am kind of concerned with the recent issues that are going on. I want custom IEMs but all these recent problems have me hesitant and have me looking at freQs.

I will give it some time before I decide to see how everything plays out.

Anyone got any comparison of LiveWires vs E4C?

The E4c are kinda like Livewires, but with less bass and less mids, so ummm, they're kinda not like Livewires. I liked the SE310 better than E4c, but the Livewires still beat the E2c, E3c, E4c, SE310, E500 and SE530...

Ok

Cause I am - and please don't hit me - going to get TF10s as my main earphone. And keep the LiveWires as my random, backup earphones.

I have an appointment to get new impressions made on Monday morning. Art said that my Livewire's need to go further into my ear canal. Art is so helpful. I would highly recommend people order there Livewire's through Art and John in the California office. The sound I get with my mouth shut is freaking amazing. I can't wait to get them.

Damn mine are still not here. They received the impressions April 25th, its been now like 40 days of wait, like 7 weeks. i should've got them this week, hope I'll get them monday. Plus I have quite a bad feeling, the molds were well done but the audiologist didn't give any instructions so I just opened and closed my mouth while it was drying. But seeing the number of people having to send them plus the time I have waited, seems like I'm never gonna be able ot use them. Thats a little pessimistic, hope they fit though.

Where did you order yours? Nashville or California location?

My friend got his and they were perfect straight out of the box. Maybe yours will be too.
