If they did, they completely missed the point of buying an IEM.

Tiyako, try Mach3Bass on 10, and Surround on 4, and Stereo Enhance on 2, it really has made me enjoy the music even more.

Try it. Even more fun sounding than Ety's now!

Matt
THank you Dear Matt. It's good to have a fellow LiveWire user using a D2....hehe
Because i love my D2.

I've sent my LiveWires back for a re-drip with my Left Ear Monitor. Hopefully it'll turn out as good as the right one. I really miss them already. LOL
ANd of course it'll be a great idea if they improve their customer service of the turn-around speed

Will
return for refund. I need the funds for college now and if the fit isn't their and its not working then its not worth it and it is better to save it.

Oh hey, I just noticed you have a flattering picture of yourself in your Profile.

Glad you have your priorities straight...hopefully though you can buy something in the meantime soon to make your ears happy and your wallet thinner.

Not me anyway. If you need to do that then your seal must be very poor, surely the main reason for customs is so you can use them at low volume.

To those of you using the livewires with the cowon D2, I have found that the livewires case fits both the 'phones AND the D2 perfectly. the way I do it is as follows:
1) I keep the livewires plugged into the D2
2) I begin wrapping the livewires around the D2 lengthwise without overlapping any loops.
3) When I have about 1/4 length of cable left (I got the longer version cable) I tuck the D2 into the case, with the plugged in plug pointing up (perfect fit!)
4)I put the livewires side-by-side in the lid, trying to take up the least amount of 'thickness' if that makes sense.
5) Finally, I tuck in the excess cable into the lid and close. Perfect!

I would take pictures (and need to!) but unfortunately my gf keeps leaving her camera at her apartment. One note about my storage method: Its vital not to wrap it around the player too much, this is only done to reduce the amount of cable that is tucked into the lid. Although it could all be done without wrapping anything around the player, it makes it all easier by doing so.

Finally, I've commented on my fit earlier, and although I find that my left ear is not as snug as my right, I am perfectly happy with the tightness due to the fact that I do not lose any isolation. The only quible I have is that near the top of the shell, there appears to be a small protrusion (not visibly noticeable but I feel it) which after prolonged use hurts my ear. I need to speak with livewires about this. Does the 30-day return policy also apply to refits and stuff, or is the timeline on those more flexible ? I ask b/c I don't want to ship them out quite yet, they are quite fun to listen to :-D

I use a mint tin for the d2, and then put my livewires, other 2 8gb sdhc's, and stock buds and stylus in another mint tin.

I find the LW's case too clunky and chunky.

Try mach3bass on 10, and if you want stereo enhance on 2, and surround effect on 2, imo it makes the LW's EVEN more fun to listen too!

Tell me what you think!

Matt

Freq has great customer service.....I'm still waiting on my Livewire's and can't get anyone to answer a phone or email. Do you think I should cancel my Livewire's and get Freq's? Is the sound quality that much different?

No, keep your order for Livewires - you can always get a refund if you don't like them. Then, you can say you gave them a chance, and call Freq. But, based on how my LW sound, I wouldn't give them up without a fight.

That makes me feel way better. Waiting so long without hearing anything and needing them for gigs wears me down to the point of giving up. I'll wait on the LW, afterall, the only reason I ordered them is because you guys love them so much. It makes since to wait. Thanks for bringing me back to logic.

Livewires are special. They are well worth the wait.
