Someone should make a CAD drawing or something for foam so we can all buy foam inserts that fit our LiveWires, like Westone does.

Hi,

I'm a newbie into IEM. I have a little problem/question concerning livewires.
I ordered a pair of livewires about a month and a half ago. As soon as they received my earprints, abou the 23the of October I payed $249 by paypal to johndiles@aol.com. Since then I haven't heard anything yet. I've send some emails last week but I can't get any answers. I didn't receive an ordernr or so to proof I payed $249, which kinda concerns me. Are they in vacation or something, or should I just panick now
How long does it usually takes to make those livewires?

thanks a lot!

Greetings from Belgium

Seems like a long time to me. My Ultimate Ear customs only took 10 days. Maybe try calling the numbers at the bottom of their website?

Phone them up. It's unusual not to have heard from them as they are fairly prompt with emails, and provide reliable service. They are a small company, and I would imagine pretty busy at this time of year so the turn around for a pair of customs could be longer than usual.

If they have received your payment then there's no cause for concern.

I don't want to bring up specifics about previous issues with international customers, but you should contact them. Usually, they are very open to help.

They were helpful on the first email. Other questions were unanswered. 4+days and counting now. it doesn't seem like they want anymore sales internationally, even though i specifically mentioned sending in my impressions for a pair of customs... anyone order from canada?

Did you call? I've exchanged, probably around 60 emails with John and others. Sometimes, they responded instantly. Other times, it took them days.

Be patient or call.

I'll see if I can give them a call tomorrow.

Hope I receive myne this week. They recieved my ear impressions on the 21st of November, I also paid them via pay pal on the 21st having heard they received them but have had no confirmation or reponce back since then.

If I don't recieve them for Friday I'll send them a email. If I haven't received them for the 14th Dec I'll start to worry. I'll watch this thread closely untill then though.

Email response times

My initial email with a query was responded to immediately.

I posted a follow up query on 26/11/07, I then posted my impressions on Wed 28th November and emailed that day to say so. I have also emailed on 29/11/07 asking if it would be okay to insert my name & mobile no. in place of my name & serial no. Nothing back yet.

I know that it has not been that long so I am not concerned, but a quick acknowledgment here or there goes a long way with customers. As I say it has not even been a week yet so no big deal for me so far.

You guys are going to be really happy when your parcels arrive from California!

Just remember to turn your volume right down, so you don't start off by blowing your ear drums out!

Livewires turnaround time

I'm still waiting on mine too. They received my impressions on October 26th and quoted a 3 week turnaround time. Going on 5 1/2 weeks now and still no Livewires, but they promise me they will be out soon.

I am impatient with my toys!!!
