I'm subscribed to this thread still, but ultimately went with Freqs (improved recent build quality, able to use my iPhone cable and price, in case you're wondering). Thought this info would help the next person going to get impressions. Good luck with your LW!
Hey that's ok we still like ya. Hope the freq's work out for you. I might consider the freq's pro music man line myself once they get the kinks worked out.

oops sorry, LiveWires Forever!

I got the call today, will ship friday.
That sucks I paid for 2nd day shipping, tuesday delivery.
That will make it 5 weeks after receiving impressions.

Does anyone have any pictures of red faceplates? I think I've got my decision narrowed down to either black or red faceplates with the standard red/blue shells.

Then again, all clear looks pretty snazzy.

Death Toaster: have you had a look at the Picture Thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/liv...plete-285019/?

Red faceplates? I am not too sure whether they offer that or not :S

Yes indeed. According to their order form the face plates are available in light blue, red, tan, clear, dark brown, black, and white.

They really should have pictures of all their color options on their website. Perhaps I'll contact them and see if they can do a darker blue on one side and red on the other.

If they could have done that i would have had clear internals with red and darker internal/shell like blue coloured plates.

Clear plates look crusty around the connector, however i like how you can see through them and it magnifies everything inside.
