id say... take a knife and start scratching it off (or use a sand paper, wrap it up and start sanding)

this method might scratch up the connector (outside) but then since ur gonna paint over it, it should be fine (dont take my word for it htough)

I would think that sanding it would make the paint/primer stick better, b/c it would have surface area to stick to.

A small bead sanblaster might salvage the connector where paint got inside?

yeah the fit in my right ear definitely isn't there. but sometimes its better than others, depending on the way I put it in. Is all they do is put material on it? they both have suction when i pull the gold connector, but stlil doesn't feel right in the right.

Elluzion, id say call them / email them and have htem check it out... esp for customs, they really need to fit properly to sound properly!

Matias's unbling method looks the best to me. Look Here.
He uses 3 coats of epoxy spray paint, and it gives it a professional finish. You can see how he masks off the end of the connectors.

I will be doing this to mine.

Use paint remover carefully applied with an artists brush. It will come off easily.

Dear Kosmic, i can mask off the other parts well enough with masking tape...but the "connector" part , where it go into the monitor...that part is REALLY SMALL....the masking tape won't stick on to it good enough...that's how the paint went in...~
