THANKS GUYS FOR THE HELP. for the head tilting back thing yeah its probably the fluid in my ear. uggg
You know what that looks like? Earwax.

It's possible for your ears to be full of wax...and you blocked the holes when you inserted them. Just out of interest, do your ears produce a lot of earwax? If I remember correctly one of your first impressions was covered in the stuff. Also with a head cold your ears may have been full when you inserted them. It's important to keep your ears clean.

If you're not hamfisted try this. Get a sewing needle, and using the thread end gently scrape the stuff out. Tilt the Livewires so any loose material falls out, and not into the case. DO NOT go deeper than 7 millimeters or you may damage the driver. Wrap some tape around the needle to mark it. My bet is it's earwax!

Its not earwax, I know what my earwax looks like and I FULLY cleaned my ears with a Qtip nice and deep (without damage) before I even thought of putting my livewires in. I am pretty sure it is cotton that they use to either protect or do something but it should have been taken out. It is probably effecting the sound. The problem that I am going to hav is that i wont be able to tell if the seal is right because if that stuff is messing with the sound I can't tell if the bass is right or not.

I am not 100% sure its not earwax but I highly doubt it,

they might, i will call them tommorow and verify what the cotton stuff is and if it is supposed to be inside. atleast if I send my LW's baack, i have my Ultrasone 750s to keep me occupied. lov those babys, think LW's will overcome them?

If you're sure it's not earwax contact Earpeace and let them know. They will sort out the problem.

To check If you have a snug fit take hold of the connector. Push in, and then gently tug. (don't remove your Livewires this way btw.)You should feel suction. If you want to know if the bass is right play that bass track I posted...you'll soon know. Watch the volume though.

It will be.

My Livewires kept me from going to bed last night, which wasn't a good thing.

Somone recently posted in another thread that armature soundstage sucks. I beg to differ. I was getting width, depth, height, and pure enjoyable music to my ears.

Am I numb to hi-class headphone now?
Just bought a Grado RS1, and yes it's great.
But...... it isn't better than LW or SuperFreQ though different indeed.

What I'm expecting........ I dunno......
Argh.....

Yeah I know what you mean. Everyone is always telling me how much better full sized headphones are than IEM's but my SE530's and UE Triple.fi's to me sound better than anything else I've heard which includes most large popular 'phones. My next step is to get some livewires I think. I'm an IEM collector so...that would be the next logical step.

@killkli : I dunno. For me, I can't really enjoy my SR60s unless the room us quite (they are open type) and I'm not doing anything else except listening. I was listening to Norah Jones - Sinkin' Soon last night with my eyes closed and man, that trumpet with the little cover thing over the end (you know how they do that?) sounded awesome. I didn't even notice half of the music when I was online browsing these forums. Maybe you should try that :-D

I've been posting since last September that the Livewires sound like hi-end grados. They sound closer to my APS v3 re-cabled RS-2 than my APS v3 re-cabled RS-1, but not that far off from the RS-1.

Everytime somebody mentions that they sound like Hi-End Grados, I feel like just biting the bullet and forking over the cash for these but I'm going to wait a while longer for those clear cables and whatever else Earpeace is cooking up.
