Livewires - California Dreamin' - Page 103

You might have to send them back then ..my first pair had poor fit and the channel imbalance, but I thought it was because of the fit.

So I had new impressions taken and they remade the shells with the same drivers.
Got them back, and same channel imbalance, although those fit better.
Sent them back again, remade shells again and they rewired everything and replaced the drivers, and gave me a new cable to boot.
These are working fine, although my right ear fits slightly worse than left, but I couldn't be bothered to send them back again for something like this.

No problem. Just sharing my experiance.

Erm, i dont want to send them back, not a huge problem, may even be some recordings, albeit quite alot, i will check.

I cant cope without them now, i love the sound, and the fit, although the isolation isnt huge, maybe slightly too small, hope my canals shrink slightly rather than widen, so i wont need a refit, and seal will be better.

I dont get a seal which has a sucking feeling often, although sometimes when i push and wiggle. Will play with putting them in with mouth open, left, right etc.

Love the sound and convinience though, couldnt cope!!

This is the same thing that happened with mine. They said that my LW's would be back from the factory on Monday and they would ship them out to me then. It has been about a month this time since I sent them back in for repairs. Let's hope they took care of the details this time.

Well they told me 2 - 3 weeks for the build / final process. John diles told me I should have it the beggining of april so maybe sometime next week? that would mean that it has been about 2 weeks.. since they got them.

checkout my new custom LOD by Brainsalad (on the forums). Pretty cool eh?

3 feet, so I can have my amp in 1 pocket, and ipod in the other and not have to have them on top of each other...

Are you going to run that thick cable through your sleeves?

Elluzion - "These Livewires are AWESOME!"......

...."err...hello?...Could someone scratch my nose please?"

Lol. no. Im gonna run it from pocket to pocket i'll see how it works best.., I don't like those short LOD's, then it makes the DAP seem really big and I would rather just fiddle the songs on my ipod rather than having the amp right under it. Just personal preference.

Nice pic, your funny

wow, so basically repairs takes longer? i would expect it to be shorter (consider the fact that repairing should be easier)

if u think me saying that they need more people to make it faster is a crap post, i think MANY of you people *might* need to rethink about what to post too. i am basically just giving a suggestion.

i have NOT said anything about livewires being garbage, and im also interested in livewires (as with other customs)

and considering the fact that im asking around the turnaround time... IF I did have the chance and money to order them (which i may sooner or later), I would want to make sure the turnaround time is fast, not 1 month.

so basically, instead of me inquiring for questions and answers (or you helping at all), ur crapping on the thread.

so let me think, you love your livewires, but that allows you to post it about 10 times about saying just "i love them"? thats really helpful to people who are interested, for sure.
and also, that also allows you to break the general forum rule to "do not double post"?

as i say again, im interested in the livewires, but if it takes me like a month+ to get them, im not too proned into waiting that long (while my money is handed to them)
