That's my experience too, a really nice bonus.

That would be a safe bet. I would and if you paid too much they will get it back to you ASAP. They are great to work with.

Anyone? How long were you quoted, and how long did it actually take?

I got them a while ago and they quoted me around 3 weeks. They were pretty good on delivery to the front door.

Call them, see if you have any options. It does not cost anything to ask or voice your concerns.

Yet another minor dilemma in getting these earphones. I emailed John an address to deliver them to, then I get a reply from Art saying John's away and Art delivered it to my billing address.

So after a long ride home on the bus, I finally have them.

And what do I think, let's just say I am far from a satisfied customer.

I was expecting a nice fitting, nice looking pair of custom earphones.

What have I got, a pair of clear LiveWires that clearly look like someone has sanded/rubbed them down. You can see where it has been sanded etc.

As for the fit, slightly better than last time, but not as isolating as I expected. When they are in, with no music, I can hear myself type, but when the music is on, it's ok.

As for the sound, using the standard cable, the highs still pierce. But using a 50ohm cable, it's a bit more bearable.

I will continue using these more to see what I think, hard competition with the TF10, but so far liking them over the SF5's, a bit more natural and detailed.

I'm sorry to hear it FMT. I had my doubts about how they would fix it without a new impression. You should try to wear it a while and burn in with pink noise. Customs shouldn't hurt at the initial insertion, but after an hour or two, you may feel some pain, but this pain goes away after about a week or two. If there is a lot of pain with insertion, I wouldn't recommend using it. It can make some bruises in your ear.

I hope it works out for you.

** I'm sort of disappointed in the LW company. They should have told you that there was little chance they would be able to fix it without new impressions... Instead they just sanded it, and now it looks ugly. Now you have to send it back once again with new impressions unless you want a refund.
