Hey all, I bought this Axim last February for note-taking in school. I used it for note-taking for a year, but I am a photography major. Now that I'm done with all of my gen-ed coursework, I don't have a need for this device.
The unit itself is in MINT condition. I kept it in a Rhinoskin Titanium case 100% of the time, the device was never dropped, nothing. Here is what I am including in the sale:
-Dell Axim x51v, freshly formatted. 624MHz, 256mb ROM, 64mb RAM, 3.7" VGA screen, 802.11b wireless, Bluetooth. Windows Mobile 5.
-Rhinoskin Titanium case with very minor scratches on it, 9/10 condition
-An extra Dell-branded battery
-Docking stand/charger, with room to charge the extra battery while the unit is syncing
-1gb Sandisk SD card, I used the unit with a CF card as well but I need the CF card - I recommend the buyer purchase a CF card as well because I do not have the CF dust cover anymore.
-Dell Bluetooth keyboard - ***I received this broken from Dell. The track that allows the keyboard to slide open is somehow broken, and doesn't always work. However, I did not bother to return it because if you take care while opening the keyboard, it works perfectly. You just have to be careful to avoid undue stress on the joints and everything slides easily and neatly. 100% working condition, but it opens and closes kinda shoddily.
-Following software, install files placed on the SD card:
*PhatNotes Professional Edition
*PhatPad
*CalliGrapher 8.1 (EXCELLENT handwriting recognition software - far superior to the Windows Mobile included handwriting recognition software).
I bought everything here for almost $1,000. I also purchased 2 years of warranty support, and as of today the warranty has 132 days remaining on Limited Technical Support and Next Business Day support.
In addition to the stylus that is in the unit's own slot, I am ALSO including a second stylus that I made for taking notes in class. It is a Dell stylus that I fit inside of a Pilot G2 pen cartridge. The pen is comfortable, retractable, and the stylus tip comes out the same length as the standard pen tip. It's my personal favorite pen, and that makes it my personal favorite writing stylus as well.
I am asking $425 shipped CONUS on the Axim plus everything. If you are international, we'll work out a shipping cost. Pictures will come later tonight, but as I said the unit itself is mint, like the day I got it.
