Britain lags well behind the rest of Europe on internet speeds. Go BT! ¬_¬

Hmm, odd. I believe we have 5mb/s, not 13. And, I'm on wireless. O.o

It's Comcast Powerboost at work. I pay for 8mb service, yet I consistently get 25-30mb scores on these tests.

So true. You won't get an accurate representation of the comcast speed -- extremely aggravating for me. I want FiOS to bad Other cable ISPs (cox, road runner, etc...) offer REAL speeds of 25mbps down/1.5mbps up, not just for the first 20 seconds. Comcast is crap. And they are also starting to use sandvine on top of everything.

FiOS sometime soon.

I'm with BT in Scotland. Quoted speed is 8Mbps. Actual download speed can be anywhere from 1Mbps to 7.2-7.5Mbps depending on time of day and how aggressively I push my connection (eg 30+ simultaneous connections, multi-part downloading, bittorrent, etc). Upstream is a measly 448kbps quoted speed!! Never really pushed my upload, but it seems to be around 350-400kbps. Pretty poor

Woah! Can I move in with you?

I got 6/1 on that speed test, and connection is spec'd as 10/1, but it's shared with 2 other computers.

A little show-off from my working place...
We have a 1 Gbps connection to the outside world, but sadly we are limited to 100 Mbps internal networks.
