I've listened to the SE420's, and they are certainly not better sounding than the SE530/E500.

It's a good thing Klipsch is avoiding a triple driver IEM, as they will be cursed with a much delayed release, which every single one has been plagued with before launch.

Klipsch should think about becoming a Head-Fi sponsor. It will be great for their sales and will certainly help to get the good word about your new IEMs around the headphone community! There was no specific November date, but it seems like they're on schedule to release them sometime in November.

Here's an excerpt from Professor Thump's (the designer engineer behind these) post in the Klipsch forums:

Depends. I still do not know if the Westone 3 will ever be anything but a prototype. Until I hear that they have gone into production as the Klipch have, they are just vapor.
