Klipsch Custom Series Earphones - Page 6

I've listened to the SE420's, and they are certainly not better sounding than the SE530/E500.

It's a good thing Klipsch is avoiding a triple driver IEM, as they will be cursed with a much delayed release, which every single one has been plagued with before launch.

Klipsch should think about becoming a Head-Fi sponsor. It will be great for their sales and will certainly help to get the good word about your new IEMs around the headphone community! If you have any doubt about that, just look at the users' signatures here. Total Head-Fier spending worldwide (since this site debuted) has to be in the tens of millions of dollars, if not more.
Thanks! I have definitely made the suggestion, and we will be looking into it. Right now we are scrambling for the launch! Won't be long now

I guess we're looking at £200+ in the UK then, if they come here? :P

There was no specific November date, but it seems like they're on schedule to release them sometime in November.

Here's an excerpt from Professor Thump's (the designer engineer behind these) post in the Klipsch forums:

We just kicked off MASS PRODUCTION at the factory and have made our first shipment to you the customer and now there are thousands of parts spitting out the end the production line. Gee I hope we thought of everything.

Custom - 3, $299
Custom - 2, $199

Depends. I still do not know if the Westone 3 will ever be anything but a prototype. Until I hear that they have gone into production as the Klipch have, they are just vapor.
