yeh i suppose so but in my mind the se530 are better but for personal reasons...such as my liking to a little more bass and those lush mids. The se420 are a touch flatter but flatter dont mean better all the time.

whats interesting is im sure if you asked shure whats better out of the two the response would be mainly se530.
the same would be for klipsch to say the image is better just because it costs more, they wont say the cheaper version is better for obvious reasons but i myself would believe the custom 3 will be the best.
ive always disliked single driver iem's wether full range or whatever just based on the obvious theory that seperating bass mids and highs sounds better.

a good match up indeed would be the se420 and custom 3 i cant wait to hear opinions on these

Ok...I was the guinea pig for the Ultrasone DJ1's, and I guess I can be the guinea pig for these.


If I order the custom-1's or custom-2's for Klipsch's website with coupon, will they arrive this week? I have a plane flight on November 19th. If they will arrive on time, I will order one of them.

I'm holding out for the Custom3s. I was sent an introductory offer of $50 off Image3 or Custom2 and free shipping. I almost pulled the trigger, but folks on the Klipsch forum said the Custom3s will have the best SQ. Waiting impatiently...
