I gotta agree... of all the women I've asked from pictures of headphones they tend to shy away from the Grados. Foolish if you ask me.

she wants grados for sure. the reason she asked me for some is becuase of the sr60s i own lol. i have no other experiance beyond the 60s tho...

I haven't herd the MS1, but I own and and can highly recommend the SR80's...

I am still willing to consider to sr80s but why would you guys advise the sr80s over the ms1s?

Good question. I find the SR80 amazing and and trying to buy the MS1 to compare.

You can see in my signature below what I have, but just from the pleasure standpoint, my SR80s may be my favorite. Then don't have the warmth, accuracy, or wow-factor of the others, but they are perhaps the most fun to listen to. I don't really understand the dynamics of that, but they would probably be the last ones I'd give up, strangely enough.

They didn't become that until they'd have quite a few hours on them, by the way, so don't be disappointed at the beginning.
