Justin, could you provide information on the status of my order? (dphilip Pre-Order #197)

In the last three or four days I noticed the following:

In Post #1442, Phenic Pre-Order #196 said: "USPS confirmation email that its getting sent out." Post date 2-14-08.

Again, my Pre-Order number is 197.

In Post #1477, chrisld Pre-Order #198 stated that he received his Pico on 2-16-08.

I made my $509 payment on 1-3-08 (obviously my choice to pay early), through Google Checkout.

So far, Google Checkout order status is still shown as "In Progress". I have not seen any email(s) regarding a shipment and have not received a Pico.

If you did update by email, there is a chance that it was recognized as spam and filtered out.

All of this leaves me more than a little curious about the status of my order.

Please provide an explanation.

Pico desire sweeps the nation!!!

I want my Pico so bad I can taste it, for whatever reason I think this audiophile desire has a strong hold on all of us and our wallets!! Not trying to say anything mean and that is a valid concern.

However I think it is important to remember the amount of time and energy Justin has put into this, from trying to keep up with all the pre orders, all the way back to drawing the traces for the pc board that I have seen pictures of that make me drool. Patience is a virtue, remember in a while the Pico 2 will appear (down the road) and we will all go crazy with desire again!!

I'm 221 on the list and have a while to go, but I know it's gonna happen, and it gives me something to look forward to. Plus can it ever sound as good in real life as it does right now in my imagination?? Probably so!!!!

Where is this drawing of the traces for the pc board that you saw?
Also what brand,and model pc board was this?

I saw a picture of the internals in diff angles right here on head-fi, on the pico pictures forum. Also great shots of all the different colors!! Not sure brand, I think Justin draws out the topology and then a company makes the boards for him?? I could be completely wrong.

To clarify I have not seen a drawing of the traces, just the same internal pics everyone has seen of the board. There are however way better pics of the board than what is on the 1st page of this forum.

I was just stating that as great as that board looks, so clean, so many little resistors and parts, yet not cramped. It looks like a work of art and I cant imagine how or how long it would take for someone to design it and fit it into such a small enclosure. Cutting edge!!

Yeah, Xin is cool too, have a super macro I like. Have ultimately prefered The Headamp stuff and the Amps I have by Ray cuz of that mil-spec look, and they just have that "sound" that does it for me, but everyones ears are different.

I'm hoping the Pico will best everything I have that is portable (hornet,predator,microamp,xenos) and from all the reading I have done I do believe it will.

Man I want my Pico!!!!!! Two deep breaths, count to ten....

I just finished gathering the funds for my Pico thanks to some mates and family chipping in to help me buy 1/2 of it for my birthday.

Could I please have 1 Pico with the DAC add-on.
Edit: I only need the 1 ft USB cable

Is it possible to put in a special birthday color request?
If possible I would love one with a gloss red body, black panels, and a silver/clear knob. As I got a little more than I expected for my birthday I am willing to pay a bit extra for this option.

If this is not possible I would settle for an all silver/clear one
