A lot of websites are still trying to figure out a way to make a decent profit. Look at newspapers, which are struggling to stay in business because people under 30 are no longer subscribing. What's the point when you can read the paper for free online? I personally would hope that websites that I enjoy can find a way to support themselves without requiring me to pay a subscription fee. If that means more advertising, so be it.

Advertising is not the problem here. Everyone was fine with the previous level of advertising.
But now it is in the middle of our threads.
Advertising is fine, it is the amount, and how which becomes a problem.
EDIT:
Has anyone looked up the new companies?
I'm doing some research on some of the companies on resellerratings. and it appears compuplus has problems with grey market items. They also claim to be authorized resellers for manufacturers which they actually aren't. Also they seem to appear to send products which are different models than what they advertise.
DJDeals only has 5/10 rating, but only 4 reviews.
Shipdog however has good reviews.
But musiciansfriend? 2/10!!!

Is anyone researching these companies before their ads are put up all over?
