Head-fi Please I need your help! (Best closed headphone for classical)

Hey my friends. David here. I really need some advice. What do you audiophiles think is the best closed headphone for classical music......budget is not a concern. I'm talking about headphones in the thousands if need be. I'm considering the R10s, the Edition 9s, the L3000 and a few others. I have not ever been to head-fi meet and therefore have no experience with any of them.

Before you advise me let me just give a little criteria.....

Neutral sound quality is key! I love the sound of the UE10s and the HD600s. I'm also looking for something that attenuates some outside noise as I will use these portably. (I know it would be bizzare for someone to use 4 thousand dollar headphones outside, but I'll take that risk). Comfort is an issue as well.........

Wouldn't you feel less guilty if you shared that budget, divided among 2-3 other head-fiers? I'd be happy to help with accepting your generosity

Not having heard the R10s or E9s, I would say the R10s.

EDIT:
wtF Using the R10s outside and portable?!

Also dont think any of those are going to block much noise. Best bet is for the UE-10s that you already have.

i don't have any extensive experience with the headphones you list, but from what i have read, the R10 would appear to be the best choice for classical music. however, it is very expensive (5-6K) and even if cost is not a concern, they are incredibly difficult to find. between the L3000 and Ed.9, i suspect there may be a better closed phone for classical music (again, based on many impressions that i have read).

I say the Stax 4070.
Of those few closed headphones I have heard the 4070 stand in a league of its own. Give them a try...
