Hello,
I bought some HP2 about 1 month ago for a good price, but as I was searching for Stax headphones in Montreal, I encounter a guy that had Grado HP2 in good condition. He told me it had a vibration problem, so I propose him an offer (exchange with HF-1 + $$$ for HP2 and some other things) and he accepted. I won't tell the price because you'll all hate me, but it's a deal "a la NikonGod" (if you remember).
It has the reference cable
. I listened to them for about 2 hours straight, and I still have no vibrations at all. The reference cable is really a big improvement over the standard cable; more treble and soundstage, less congested. It has also the shiny finish (opposed to the mat finish of mine). I took off the lettering myself (it had some left, but I prefer it this way it's cleaner; the lettering left was really minimal).
Here are some pics:

This post is to remind people that Grado HP2 are still available, but you have to search them and be lucky. You can buy them on Ebay and pay big, or you can wait and search to find a good opportunity.
