It's official: my life sucks.

My sig explains well.....


....After moving, I found out the box which contains these headphones was gone. I was in the college so I could not check the storage.

Today, I went to the storage, and I couldn't find the box....

that sucks. no chance of turning up. i mean they are definitely not somewhere else. what happened then. stolen.

Either the moving guy stolen those things or it may dropped off during the moving (the truck was open top one.)

I also lost the power supply of my DAC as well (it was in same box.)

Guys, its not funny. That is a big sum of money lost there. How would you feel if it happened to you?

@wnmnkh, sorry to hear that man, hopefully the box is just misplaced somewhere in your new house. Hope you find it back again soon.

Nope. I searched the storage for hours, checking all the boxes and could not find the box I want. I already checked my new home already and no luck (I already unpacked all boxes, so oh well.)

I calculated the total money I lost and it is whopping 1220$! If I ever buy these stuff again, excluding V900 (which did not impressed me much,) It costs me 990$ (it sucks the price of HD650 went up to 340$. When I bought it it was 260 at amazon.com)

* stop making fun of me. V900HD was in fact not a new one at all; it was 2 months heavily used one.

wow that really really sucks. I feel for you man. Especially since monty is being such an ********. I can't believe there are people like that in such a helpful forum.

For your sake, I hope for the best. Maybe you'll find it somewhere least expected.

Have you thought of posting the loss in the paper and offering a reward?

Chances are the majority of the populus has no clue what those items are really worth. The thief (or someone who stumbled upon them) might jump on say a $100 reward.

Just a thought. Hope you find them soon.

Holy cow! That is horrible!!!!

And as for the totally inappropriate posts, yes - definitely report them. Just so out of line that I can't even begin to relate how p'oed I am at seeing those. Thankfully, that is the exception around here.

So you put your headphones in a box and left it in a storage for the movers to pick up? Regardless, I do feel sorry for your loss, since its our love of music and audio gear that brings us together in this forum.

Monty's comments are a bit on the sarcastic side and does border on rudeness but I have to admit that he makes a valid point.

Leaving valuables in a storage = bad things can happen.

Again, sorry for your loss. Maybe we can start a relief fund for you here in head-fi.
