Well Guys, it's official, I won't be attending CANJAM08

I was invited for a position as assistant professor/ internships coordinator at my college( I graduated recently). It's an awesome opportunity and I won't let it go away, so this means I won't be able to move back to the US in the beginning of next year as I intended.

I'm quite sad about this as I was already looking forward to this meet, but career is still on top of head-fi.

I'll keep track of the events though!

Good luck to all the organizers and lots of fun to the participants.

Manuel, I think you might the right choice. We will miss you. Hopefully, you won't let your career get in the way of the next one.

Also, what's the timetable for Sunday? My possible flight leaves at 12:45pm, and I'm just wondering how much I'll be missing.

You will miss most of the day as it will start, I believe at 10am. You would have to leave the hotel by 11:30am at the latest (airport about 10 minutes from the hotel. If there is any chance to get on the a flight later in the day, it would be worthwhile.

Ok, I just booked my hotel, and got my flights. I get in friday night, and leave at 4pm sunday.

Well, count me in if you welcome n00bs...heh...btw, I’ll be riding my bike over during the day session as I just live a little north from the hotel. If I could answer any questions, feel free to pm me, but please nothing that you can't look up your self…oh and no designated driver requests.

I was counting on vince distracting the girls. I'm not looking for temptation this trip Besides, I'm there to get vince to do free work on my gear... (shhh, don't tell him)
