Absolutely not. At night, people will be going out, hanging out in rooms holding mini meets and there will be drinking among those 21 and over but not everyone and not everywhere. During the day on Sat and Sun it will be about checking out gear, listening to music and talking to new and old friends.

Sweet! Thanks for allaying my fears! I'm trying my hardest to get down there; I think the parentals will probably come and chill on the beach while I do the Head-Fi thing.

There were plenty of under 21 year olds in NY and San Jose and a few parents walking around during the meet. This meet is open to all ages and depsite what you may read, we are all generally pretty responsible. My kids, both under 21 will be there helping me out.

Cool! Its good to hear! If indeed I do come, I'm going to try and bring some of my DIY stuff, not that it'll be that impressive, but still..

Bring what you can or don't, either way you will be welcome and will have a good time. Tell your parents that the Air & Sea Show is that weekend. Maybe it will some incentive to get them to bring you down here.

Besides the 2 drink minimum panel.
If we had sodium pentathol, we could have a non-alcoholic way to have a knock down drag 'em out dogfight of what the DIY'ers really want to say to each other (maybe share op-amp secrets).

For now, the 2 drink minimum panel will have to be our barometer

It's hard to wear a lampshade on your head and a pair of headphones at the same time.

Ron Pampero Aniversario?!? I haven't had that in years! It awesome.

Yeah, I've tried to make Fl meets before but stuff just always comes up and I can't make it! Hopefully this time everything will go well!

Maybe we should make this meet even more international by encouraging everybody who is of age and so inclined to bring a bottle of something from their homeland (even if they don't live there). I could bring a nice cognac, a Welsh Single Malt or an Irish Whisky. So many choices for us mutts in the U.S.! Any takers (bringers)?
I'll bring Tequila!

I used to have a Regular Millett, but I'd be very interested in this, especially since that was the amp I was thinking of bringing. Its pretty small, and I think I'd be able to easily Carry-On it.

It's all about priorities. The meet is your priority.

cettoole is building me one, however I have not been able to get in touch with him lately. I know he will come through specially since I have yet to pay for the amp. Based on the impressions posted on the Millet Max thread it is supposed to be a very nice unit.

This should be a seriously rocking meet

Any plans for a K1000 room?

I'm pretty certain there will be a K1000 room. It went over very well in San Jose despite a couple of initial setbacks. I'm hoping we will have more rigs set up this time. We will have a larger room so we should be able to accomodate at least 10 rigs and probably more. Assuming of course people bring them for the meet. I know my rig will be set up in there.
