this is a very tough decision. i went with Sergei Prokofiev, though; technical, beautiful.

after that, i pretty much like everybody else in the list equally.

This probably isn't fair since I've already chosen Chopin, but I'm gonna plug the solo-piano piece that I'm most obsessed with. If at least one Head-Fier hears it and derives nearly as much pleasure as I do from it, I'll feel like I've done a very good deed.

Chopin

Happy to finally see more votes for Chopin. I was the first to vote, but didn't say why. It's like trying to explain why dark chocolate is my favorite. I'll have to go with emotionally and intellectually satisfying. For Chopin, that is.
