is it possible to get track info from CDDB after Cd was ripped?

Folks,

I ripped few CDs onto my hard drive when I had no internet connection. So all tracks were copied to my computer with the title like Track 01, Track 02 etc. Now I have internet connection and I want to reinstate the track info by connecting to CDDB without ripping the CDs again.

Is it possible?

Im almost certain there isnt. All the track information tag/ids are not copied during ripping without an internet connection.

When I rip cd's with itunes and no internet connection is available to me at that time, I can get the track info later on when I do connect to the internet.

Itunes does offer a "Get CD Track Info" option under the "Advanced" menu, but I've never used it except when, for unknown reasons, Itunes doesn't get the info automatically when I insert the CD.

Probably the best thing you can do now is to download and install MP3 Tag, it will allow you to search and download the tags from Free DB, Amazon, etc..

iTunes:

Advanced -> Get CD track names
