AD2000 and SR325i stolen from car last night

Thread Starter
I discovered this morning evidence that my car had been broken into sometime last night (where I live, a lot of residents park their cars on the street) and saw that the thieves had swiped a few things - some completely random things (like 3 recycle bins, wtf? who would steal recycle bins?), but most importantly my AD2000 and SR325i!!! I'd left them in my car for a certain reason and...this just makes me mad. It's not as if they were in plain sight either (both were stored in a box), so my car was most likely a random target.

So if anyone local becomes aware of any info that might help me locate either headphone, let me know please, that would definitely help.

Really pissed off right now that someone stole my headphones. I wonder what they're going to do with my AD2000 anyway, it's not like they're easily usable by just anyone now that they're terminated to XLR...

Sorry to hear Asr. Keep an eye on Craigslist and eBay.

Sorry to hear, I certainly hope your homeowner's insurance kicks in. Although most of us nowdays have a $500 or higher deductible. Man that sucks.

Oh, man, I'm really sorry to hear that. You have my sympathies.

that sucks!! sorry to hear that Asr.

my sister's car was broken into a while back. had nothing in plain site. just decided to smash one of the windows and see what they could find. she lost a really nice cordless phone/answering machine she had received as a gift. other than that there was not much to take. the worst part was the hassle of getting the window fixed and dealing with the insurance company.

if the guy doesn't know anything about headphones, he is probably looking at your AD2000s and thinking: WTF?!?!? maybe he will return them when he doesn't know what to do with them.

Im sure I speak for a LOT of us here: If you want any help whatsoever in replacing the lost cans, just let us know. Your generosity and participation on these boards is legendary. I can't help with much on my own, but I am certain we would have no issues pooling a "headphone-replacement-fund" for you, pal.

Just say the word.
