The meet will be at the Embassy Suites 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale. Set up between 8 and 10. The meet will start at 10am.

Anyone who was planning on staying at a hotel and didn't make arrangements already are probably out of luck. I am looking for alternatives but I am told that most of the hotels in my area are booked due to a big softball tournament and the International Boat Show.

If you need a room but don't have one, please let me know.

Wayne's still coming as far as I know, but the Atom situation is tricky. His truck to tow the Atom is in Hollywood, and the Atom is in Tampa. We talked about renting a truck to bring the Atom down but that cost was prohibitive, and him bringing his truck up and then down, and then up again, would also get a bit spendy on the gas. Basically it didn't make sense for him to bring it down for a few rides at that kind of cost. I think he's still planning on making it work for the national. He may in fact be bringing the truck up after this meet so everything's in the same place, but I'm not sure about that.

I have 3 rooms reserved at the La Quinta near my house. They are King suites with a pull out couch. They are pricey at $164/night plus tax. I will do what I can to kick in some $ to help out. I feel bad for not grabbing a bunch of rooms but between CanJam and work I didn't think of it and figured everyone would have made reservations. I can cancel them up to 6pm on Friday.

I have 12 passenger van reserved that we can pick up at the airport on Saturday around 12pm. I figured we could run over there at lunch. I didn't want to have it more than 24 hours to keep the cost down.
