SoFla Fall Meet "The Storm Before the Jam" - 10/27/07 - Page 3

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is we can hold the meet at the Embassy Suites 17th Street. The bad news is that we can't stay there since it's the Int'l Boat Show and they require 4 night minimum stay. The Amerisuites has rooms to stay in but the meet room is under renovation and they don't know if it will be ready in time. I will search for rooms locally at other hotels. I would like to hold it at the ES so people can check the place out since CJ will be there.

hehe, it took me a bit, but ya, ive been totally out of it lately, opening of schools was really crazy with migrating 500 machines over to a new active directory domain and moving 1300 users and their profiles/network folders was quite a mission!

but ya things are starting to slow down and i can finally work on all those pending projects

What do you mean? It already is.

Thanks, by the way, I obviously liked your suggestion.

I can spring for the airfare if someone can offer me a couch to sleep on.

...and, if I'm going to be winged, I would be an eagle, not a chicken or a pigeon.

Done. My wife and daughter are out of town that weekend.

Hey, I didn't see this one coming at all, but great news! I'll make my usual non-commital promise to try to make it if at all possible. In this case, it does seem possible and even probable so pencil me in.

I'm kind of fired up because I'll be in Monaco the week before from the 17th through the 20th for some meetings. We've always held them in Cayman in the past, but will be doing quarterly meetings there from now on (first class airfare, 5 star hotel, lots of great food and wine, and someone else pays for it)! The only bad thing is that the dates coincide with the Atom Fest (18-20) out in Tulsa which I really wanted to go to. At least now I'll have something to look forward to when I get back and can give rides all day long!

Aaron, I think that you'd make a great Ostrich!

Send me your flight info when you have it.

Wayne, you were supposed to come by with the Atom. I think my son was looking forward to it more than I was. I'm around this weekend if you can make it.

Don't forget the Melos (If you finish it anytime soon I'm going to use it so I can send my WA5 to Jack for some upgrades, including V-Caps).
