I recently got around to editing some photos I took while the band was at a baseball game. Drumline got to play a cadence during the 6th inning instead of the usual speaker music that the park plays. It was a great time.

Most shot with a Minolta 58mm f/1.4 on a Sony A100 using a fotodiox MD-SN(A) mount adapter.

I really like the last one there. the middle one looks like way over-saturated, but it might just be my end.

What's your workflow for a "bleach-bypass/silver-retention simulation" ?
I duplicate a layer set to multiply blend mode, and then pull things up in curves, before tweaking saturation, but I'm not really satisfied with the results.

I think it just boils down to lighting (aka "everything").  No fancy layering work; just a combination of glorious early morning sunlight and my macro ring flash to bring up the shadows a little.  I did use the above-mentioned DxO film pack's B&W infrared film mode at a low strength to bring out some of the silver tint, but I think most of the look is due to the lighting.

Just got my first roll of film, Kodak 200 GOLD. Popped it into my Minolta SRT-101, lets see how this goes!

Any general advice would be appreciated, this is my first move away from APS-C.
