It's remarkable you can get that kind of bokeh at f5.6. I guess full fram sensors really do have their advantages.
it could be very possible that the subject is much much closer to the camera than the background which helps a ton. My biggest gripe with that shot is how lumpy the blur is, the bokeh isn't smooth enough

True, but f5.6 shouldn't create that much bokeh unless it's a tele lens.

I remember reading about Tanalot in books in 1990, about fresh spring water emerging underneath the island temple in a dark cave. About strange poisonous sea snakes which roam the upper temple area at night and swim to their sleeping cave at dawn across at the beach.
