Monochrome conversion in Sigma Photo Pro, Fuji Provia 400 film preset in Lightroom, then a few touches with a texture and catch-light brush.
I've been taking a few pictures with my retina mini lately. I recommend getting Cortex Cam, which, if you can hold the camera steady, takes a bunch of shots and merges them into one, high-quality one. I know there is also a trend lately to do serious video with iPads, with proper tripod mounts available.
That 41MP Nokia -- I would guess many of the pixels are interpolated. If DxO mark is any indication, the best lens available only resolves 29MP (!) on the D800 (if you have $4k for the lens!).
