(Not sure which one of the last I liked better, but either way that bucket kept me from buying anything)

Personally, the one in colour is my favourite. So rich, so earthy. The B&W conversion takes that away. I wonder if the other ones are like that, too. Subdued urban locals (northern europe, north america) are decent for B&W because they have less contrast to begin with. But this... wow.

This shot still brings a smile out of me when I see it. It was nothing of my own doing, of course; I was only at the right place and the right time.

When the alcohol starts flowing...

This was at a family friend's wedding reception --- pictured is the bride's father (after a few too many drinks), planting a wet one on his elderly aunt.

I didn't mean to frame it this way, as I had to pan really quickly from the left to catch the moment, but boxing her into the right hand side works well, though I would've wanted just a little more safe area.

Edit:  Nevermind.  Upload quality is awful...

The reasons for why such things persist will take that LOL away and replace it with a headache...if Health Officials clamp down on these guys, out come all the socialist arguments, revolving around the Oppressive Capitalist State protecting the interests of the Corporations against the paltry capacity of the honest working class.

Well as much as I hate pink slime from fastfood burgers and nuggets, I'm not going for real meat being grilled over a bucket of black slime!

That's the thing, the concrete and the paint, the uniforms/clothes on the other shots were bland by comparison. Light greys and blues, whites and dull prints, etc. On the last shot, because the color and contrast were great to begin with (the paint on the wall, the casual clothing, etc), monochrome with added contrast (initial conversion was actually "flatter" than the others for some reason; I mean if I wanted things flat as in very realistic, I might as well use color and reduce the saturation) makes the monochrome of the last shot actually look better than the others (at least that's how I like my monochrome shots sometimes). Usually though I really convert to BW the relatively dull shots, then up the contrast a bit.

This one was also bland in color, but I converted it and liked the result.

This is probably my favorite photograph that I've taken.

Sunset at the spot I found that cures my procrastination. I get tons of work done here.

Anyone drooling over the Zeiss 55/1.4 Otus? That is one amazing lens.

Zeiss purists will probably scream blasphemy or something, but I love the new design of the lens too.

I loved SLRs and lenses when the cameras were small and easy to control. Today, I simply hate the interface. When/if I get the dosh, I'm fleeing to Leica. I love Zeiss optics though and I'm sure this is a fine lens. But I'm just not that strong.

This morning outside the pharmacy building. Taken with my iP4. I love Fall weather.
